The University's arrangements in relation to the approval and monitoring of partner publicity are detailed in section C1 of The Open University Handbook for Validated Awards.

In particular, an essential requirement is for partner institutions to accurately describe their relationship with The Open University and the programmes that are validated or subject to validation by The OU.

Printed publicity materials should be sent for approval to the Partnership Engagement Manager, OUVP by email at In addition, we regularly audit partner websites in order to ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date in their description of the partner institutions' validated provision.
