Access our digital talent pool

Are you looking to hire for data analysis or automation/ DevOps roles in 2022?

The Open University (OU) is currently running two Skills Bootcamps for adults in England, to support them to make the move into a new digital job in 2022.

Skills Bootcamps - recently launched by the Department of Education in England – are 16-week long adult training programmes that have been designed with both participants and employers in mind. The OU Skills Bootcamps give participants the opportunity to develop new technical skills, receive careers and employability support and access work experience opportunities. At the same time, the scheme provides organisations with the opportunity to grow and diversify their talent pool in skills areas that are in high demand and short supply.

There are a wide variety of individuals on programme from those just starting out in their careers through to those making a career change, returning to the workplace after a break or looking for a new opportunity after redundancy. All have been recruited onto the Bootcamps on the basis of their aptitude, attitude and drive to succeed.

The programmes began in October and our aim is to support individuals to achieve an interview for a digital job by the end of March 2022
