What you’ll study

You'll explore areas such as corporate finance, financial decision-making, financial reporting and governance. You will develop competences in applying statistical and econometric techniques, and gain knowledge of the fundamentals of Islamic finance and behavioural finance.

Credit transfer

If you’ve successfully completed some postgraduate study elsewhere, you may be able to count it towards your postgraduate qualification – reducing the number of modules you need to study. You need to apply for credit transfer as soon as possible, and certainly before you register for your first module.

Postgraduate loans

From June 2016, non means-tested loans of up to £10,000 will be available to masters degree students aged under 60. You won't have to start paying the loan back until you are earning over £21,000 a year, and even then you'll pay it back in manageable payments from as little as £20 a month1.
