Chris Jones

Employability Manager for School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment: Nottingham Trent University 

Chris is Employability Manager for the School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment at Nottingham Trent University (NTU) where he leads on employability development within the school and supports academic colleagues with the integration of employability within the curriculum.  He has a Bachelor’s degree in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of York and a Master’s Degree in Philosophy from the University of Birmingham, as well as a Postgraduate Diploma in Careers Guidance from NTU.  
He has previously worked as a Careers Adviser in Higher Education at both NTU and the University of Nottingham, and as a Personal Adviser, Team Leader and Project Manager for Derbyshire Connexions Service and Local Authority. His interests include the development of professional identity, employability as a route to personal development and social mobility, and the synergies between effective learning behaviours and employability.
