The event will showcase the expertise of academics working in the area of Smart Materials focusing on the development of novel solutions to challenges faced by SMEs working in the field of Smart Materials. The workshop will begin with a series of presentations from experienced academics followed by an opportunity to network and discuss how industry can work with the Open University to address the challenges faced in the development, application and commercialisation of Smart Materials.

Topics that will be presented on:

• 5 Novel nanoparticle radiosensitisers for cancer therapy
• Electrospun nanomaterials for drug, nutrient and packaging applications
• TBC
