Issues accessing referencing guidance on Cite Them Right

We are aware that there is currently an issue with the Cite Them Right database - users are being presented with a "subscription required" message when trying to access guidance via the 'Choose referencing style' or 'Browse categories' menus.

We have reported this issue to the provider and will update this message as soon as we know more.

To access referencing guidance while this issue in ongoing, you can use the search bar to look for templates by name (e.g. Book chapter) and then filter the results by the relevant referencing style (e.g. Harvard).

Update Thursday 23rd March 2023: This issue is ongoing, and is affecting all users of the site across all institutions. The site owners are working on resolving the issue as soon as possible.

Update Friday 24th March 2023: This issue has now been resolved, the database is functioning normally again.
