Librarian wins Business Network award

We’d like to congratulate Aruna Bansal, one our Learning & Teaching Librarians, for winning ‘Best Single Parent Group Facilitator of the Year’ at this year’s Single Mums Business Network (SMBN) Awards. The SMBN was created to help members gain exposure to their businesses, whilst raising awareness of the need for Governance and Policy Change around flexible working.

Aruna joined the Single Mums Business Network back in 2020 and is also Founder of the Asian Single Parents Network CIC, which was set up in 2011 to support both single mums and dads from the South Asian community across the UK. Congratulations, Aruna, on this fantastic achievement.
