Professional biography

I joined the OU in 2018 as an Associate Lecturer and moved into my role as Staff Tutor in early 2022, prior to which I worked at a number of Scottish universities. As a Staff Tutor, I work with Psychology Associate Lecturers in R02 and on the DE200 module team.

Research interests

My research interests focus on the social and cognitive aspects of bilingualism, although I also maintain an interest in executive functioning research. My scholarship interests focus on open pedagogy and research methods, particularly in regard to teaching related to the replication crisis and how we can implement open research practices into scholarship.
