Research highlights

The Reading Experience Database has successfully combined OU research with the input of large numbers of volunteer-researchers in order to establish and maintain a database making OU research accessible across the world.

OU research on South Asians in Britain has been disseminated globally through a database, and through a major public engagement programme of public lectures and events, educating audiences on Britain’s colonial past and its continuing legacy.  

OU research in English Language and Literature has led to OU researchers working as academic consultants on television and radio programmes, like the ones on Ford Madox Ford.
