The Open University is proud to sponsor Greta Thunberg: It’s Not Too Late to Change the World, at the Edinburgh International Book Festival 2023.

Greta Thunberg has shown how ordinary people can take on the establishment whatever their age or background. To create The Climate Book, she called on the wisdom of over 100 experts, including scientists, artists, Indigenous leaders, and those living on the front line of climate change, to tell the truth about our changing world. Thunberg joins us for a special event at the Edinburgh Playhouse to outline how collective action – and hope – will serve us in the urgent fight for our planet's welfare.

Gemma CairneyThis event is chaired by writer and broadcaster Gemma Cairney (pictured right). It is hosted in association with Edinburgh International Festival and sponsored by The Open University in Scotland.

To book your spot to watch this event online, available on a 'Pay what you can' basis, go to the EdBookFest website (in-person tickets have sold-out).

There is a range of free courses and articles available through the Sustainability Hub on OU's OpenLearn site, from diverse perspectives around the world, ranging from ecology, energy and food choices, to economics and design solutions.
