The Edinburgh International Book Festival is delighted to welcome world-leading lawyer and academic John Sexton. 

In Standing for Reason, Sexton uses his experience as president of New York University to mount an impassioned defence of the value of academic institutions against what he calls ‘secular dogmatism’.

He will be interviewed by former Prime Minister and former OU tutor Gordon Brown, who wrote the foreword for this guidebook to connected higher education.
