The Open University is delighted to present the Codebreaking & Cryptography with the OU event at Maths Week Scotland 2021. Get an exclusive peek at the Open University's brand new free code-breaking app! Sharpen your cryptography skills to decipher the code.

In this interactive code-breaking session, participants will use clues and their own problem-solving skills to crack codes and decipher secret messages against the clock. We will also be unveiling our brand new free gaming (web) app Code Break!

This online activity is presented by mathematicians Charlotte Webb and Andrew Potter, from the School of Mathematics & Statistics, in the Open University's Faculty of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM).

The session is suitable for adults, schools and children (we suggest 14+) and is part of this year's Maths Week Scotland.

Book your place at this free event via the Eventbrite page for Codebreaking and Cryptography with the OU
