Tiffany Roberts

After starting as a technical support engineer back in 2016 with no GCSEs but a passion for engineering, Tiffany Roberts has recently achieved the position of Test Manager at Nextbase, leading a team of 8 test engineers in all testing activities including verifying new products currently in development meet the required technical specification and validating that all test levels have been achieved prior to product release to customers. Working full time throughout the course and subsequently graduating with an Engineering degree meant that real professional experience within the IoT consumer electronics field could be integrated with the academic knowledge to catapult her career into a technical leadership position. Insistent on being a guiding light for others, Tiffany runs a weekly coding club to encourage non-tech position members of the wider team to get introduced to and learn about coding including what it’s like being a part of the engineering team day to day.
