‘World Symposium on Climate Change Policies: Science and Technology in Support of Policy-Making in Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation’, online, and free of charge, on Tuesday 19 September 2023.

Through online delivery, this event (hosted by Manchester Metropolitan University) aims to be inclusive and to limit CO₂ emissions associated with travel to the event. 

The Symposium will include presentations from representatives from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change's Working Groups I, II, and III, as well as from the Secretariat of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change and the Department for Education. Together, the speakers from these organisations will provide an overview of the state of the art and outline future trends. There will also be a wide range of presentations from colleagues specialising in aspects of policy making and/or policy implementation on climate change.
