"Closing the Chasm" conference 1 February 2017

This conference will address the Student Ethnicity Attainment Gap and BME Career Progression in Higher Education, and will be chaired by Pro-Chancellor Richard Gillingwater.  You will be able to share your knowledge and wisdom and have the opportunity to benefit from what others in the sector are doing.

We have an impressive line-up of people who will be sharing their expertise, including:

• Nona McDuff, Director of Diversity, Equality and Inclusion, Kingston University
• Winston Morgan, Reader in Toxicology and Clinical Biochemistry, University of East London
• Chris Hall, Head of Diversity, De Montfort University

The programme will challenge us to innovate, create strategies to achieve greater ethnic diversity at senior staff levels and consider how we tackle the student ethnicity attainment gap more effectively.
