Description
Caroline Clive (née Meysey-Wigley) was an English writer who produced a number of poetry collections and novels. During her lifetime she was well known for 'IX Poems' published in 1840 and her 'Paul Ferroll' novels which are regarded as early sensational mystery novels. Her works were published using the anonymous pseudonym 'V'. Caroline Clive died tragically in a house fire in 1873.
