Rebecca Hey (née Roberts) was an English poet, artist and writer. Her first book 'The Moral of Flowers' published in 1833 is an encyclopedia of English flowers, containing her descriptive articles and poetry with illustrations by artist William Clark. Her second book 'Sylvan Musings or The Spirit of the Woods' was an encyclopedia of trees which featured her writing, poetry and her own illustrations.
