Description
William Henry Prowse was a ship-broker and owner from Birkenhead. He was a friend of William Lambert Hotchkin, a ship and insurance-broker from London. Both appear to have been friends of Sampson Low. Following Prowse's death at the age of 29 at Hotchkin's home in Kensington, Hotchkin wrote to Sampson Low to give him the news.
