From our base in the beautiful spa town of Montecatini Terme we'll explore the beautiful region of Tuscany in central Italy.
There'll be a visit to Florence for a 3 hour guided tour with the rest of the day free for you to explore the famous sites such as the Duomo and the Ponte Vecchio and famous masterpieces such as Michaelangelo's David or Botticelli's Birth of Venus.
We will also have a day exploring the picturesque, historical town of Lucca followed by a guided tour of Pisa with it's famous leaning tower.
There will also be a guided tour of Montecatini Terme itself on the first morning with it's may fountains, thermal centres and funicular railway.
There'll be free time for you to spend at your leisure, Montecatini Terme is on the main railway line between Pisa and Florence so you can spend more time visiting those places or you can wander off and do your own thing.
We have an optional full day excursion to the Chianti region for wine tasting, olive oil tasting and local hams and cheeses. This is dependant on getting enough people to take part.
All in all a wonderful opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful areas in the world and soak up the the history and culture of the area.
The hotel - The Hotel Tuscany Inn, a four star hotel in the centre of town, just 3 minutes walk from the train station. we have booked bed and breakfast.

Once you have requested a place/places we will pass on your contact details to Greatdays who will request a deposit of £200 per person.
