External Engagement

You do not need to be a student at The Open University to benefit from our world-class knowledge and expertise. As a school we are strongly committed to promoting the public understanding of science so we run and take part in a broad range of outreach and engagement activities for a wide range of audiences from school children to policy makers including school lectures, science festivals and BBC/OU television co-productions.

We also develop commercial and social enterprises as a means of maximising the impact of our academic activities within our School. Our Enterprise activities draw on our research and teaching.
