BME Leadership at a Local Level during the Pandemic and Embedding Goodwill and Collaboration post-Black Lives Matter Movement 2020 campaign.

This Open University Centre for Voluntary Sector Leadership (CVSL) webinar marks the International Day for the Elimination of All Forms of Racial Discrimination. The workshop will bring together researchers, service providers and leaders of Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) organisations from across the UK and beyond.

CVSL will be sharing lessons learnt from 2021 research on engagements and collaboration between the leadership of BME groups and service providers and follow-up research projects. The workshop will include a presentation on the work of the Cardiff Race Equality Taskforce over the last two years and allow guests to learn more about the experiences of BME leaders from across the UK and further afield during that period.

This event has been organised and will be chaired by Dr Fidèle Mutwarasibo, Lecturer in Work Based Learning.
