Meet the team

Our Employer Engagement team is part of the Careers and Employability Services at The Open University. The team connects a growing network of employers with OU students and alumni and also helps to thread the employer voice throughout the student journey.

Our Virtual Internships team

Beverley Casling (Internship Manager) and Meija Hietarinta (Employability Adviser) are part of our Virtual Internships team. They're here to support you if you choose to offer a virtual internship. The beneifits of virtual internships include drawing talent from a wider pool and freeing up tasks for staff without having to provide office space.

Our Nations team for Scotland, Wales, and Northern Ireland

Page Munro (Partnerships Officer for the OU in Scotland), Samantha Forde (Partnerships Coordinator for the OU in Wales), and Nicola Joyce (Employability and External Engagement Manager for the OU in Ireland and Northern Ireland) are here to support you if you're based in one of their nations or want to get involved with students or graduates on a national level.
