Abstract

The Live Brief (LB) programme at ARU is a curriculum-based approach to inclusive provision of employability and authentic learning for students, co-created and delivered collaboratively by a multi-disciplinary team including academics, professional service staff and employer partners.

The programme integrates real-world tasks and challenges within compulsory UG modules in years 1 and 2 to support learning outcomes and assessment.

This key curriculum intervention aims to develop student employability and graduate success by addressing a set of critical attributes, including inclusivity of provision, development of graduate capitals and professional partners’ feedback on students’ output.

We will present the first-year findings and recommendations, evaluated by impact measures and feedback from all primary stakeholders.
