The Athena Swan charter has recently been transformed, after an independent review. Advance HE hope to streamline administrative work on Athena Swan applications, as well as better incorporating areas such as intersectionality. You can find more information on the transformed charter here. Until November 2022, institutions and departments will have the option to apply under either the old or new systems, and from 2023 onwards only the new charter.
