The Strategic Research Area in International Development and Inclusive Innovation will be holding an all-day festival to celebrate its many successes over the past 7 years this November.
As the only pan-University centre for research on international development, our festival aims to feature and celebrate the achievements of OU international development projects (teaching, research and other). It will be attended by OU colleagues who work on international development, colleagues from the Global South and senior OU colleagues with a remit to lead on the OU’s internationalisation strategy and UK/global international development policy influence and impact.
The one-day festival will feature:
opportunities to hear from OU partners from the Global South on the impact of their collaboration with The OU;
participation from all OU Nations and Nation Directors;
exhibitions of various OU international development projects;
a prize for the most-voted exhibition display;
an address by OU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tim Blackman;
an address by PVC-Research Kevin Shakesheff;
