In the XI SOAS Industrial Development and Policy Lecture, Professor Maureen Mackintosh uses recent work by Tanzanian, Kenyan and UK researchers to outline incentive structures in East African health sectors that interact with industrial development, determining their inclusionary or exclusionary nature, and drawing implications for policy.
