Have you ever really wanted to know...

Why is constructivism such a popular approach to use? What exactly is Activity Theory, Learning Styles or Communities of Practice? How will these theories help me in my scholarship research? What are the limitations of these theories for scholarship research?

Then this is the one seminar that you should really attend!

Four presentations will give an overview of the key points from these theories with regard to scholarship research. Each of the researchers have practical experience in applying these theories for the purposes of scholarship research in technology enhanced learning. There is an opportunity to question presenters around specifics with regard to your research.

At the end of this short seminar you should leave with an overview understanding of some key educational theories.

Refreshments and lunch will be provided. Please confirm your attendance and any special dietary requirements by emailing your details to Diane Ford at esteem@open.ac.uk by Thursday 26th January 2012.
