In this session we will provide the following –

• An overview of the Jisc Online Survey system

• How to create a survey and distribute a survey using a mailing list/sample.

• How to run reports

• Many other hints and tips along the way!

After the session you will be able to access the demo presentation and supporting materials via our website, but it's worth making your own notes from the session, so bring a pen and paper.

Stephanie Lay

Senior Manager, Student Research: I’ve been with the OU since 2002 in several data-related roles. I’m currently responsible for leading the institutional and bespoke surveys for the OU and run the survey operations team.

Emma Street

Research and Evaluation Co-ordinator: I have been working at the Open University for 16 years, 14 of which have been in the world of survey design and distribution. I have sent out hundreds of surveys in that time, and have used various different platforms for delivering the surveys. I am currently an expert in the use of Qualtrics and Jisc Online surveys, and look forward to sharing my knowledge with you all. I also support the SRPP application process.

Hannah Johnson

Research and Evaluation Assistant: I am fairly new to the University, so am learning along with you all. I am involved with the design and distribution of surveys and support of those distributing their own. I also support the administration of SRPP.
