The International Journal of Gender, Science and Technology warmly invites you to a Gender and STEM Research Seminar on the 15th March, Meeting Room 8, from 10.30 - 12.30 followed by a networking lunch.

There will be two speakers, Maureen McNeil and Dorothy Gordon. Maureen will be in Milton Keynes whilst Dorothy will be connecting from Ghana via a video link. The seminar will be webcast via ‘stadium’ and will be available as a replay shortly after the event.

The aim of the event is to raise the profile of Gender and STEM research in the OU, as well as to provide a networking opportunity for colleagues who are interested in the field. It is also an opportunity to raise the profile of the online journal produced by the University, The International Journal of Gender Science and Technology. New ground is being broken with this journal, both in its interdisciplinary and international content and in using the newest open access technologies.

Lunch will be provided for those wishing to stay and network after the session. Please indicate whether you are planning to stay for lunch together with any special dietary requirements by emailing Jenni Carr: - j.g.carr@open.ac.uk
