From the 18th - 21st April, eSTEeM, in collaboration with Open University Worldwide, hosted an expert colloquium entitled International Perspectives on the Development of Distance Learning. The participants were overseas colleagues with whom STEM academics were already collaborating. There were approximately 50 participants in attendance from eight countries.

The aim of the colloquium was to build a shared understanding of distance learning across the globe and to identify areas for future collaboration, including the scholarship of distance learning. We believe there are rich academic opportunities available if we work together.

The event included a combination of plenary presentations and creative discussions about international partnership. Please see the final programme for further details.

Replays of the presentations are available at the Berrill stadium website
