Making connections and sharing pedagogy in Leicester

Last week delegates gathered at the University of Leicester for the inaugural Horizons in STEM Higher Education Conference 2016.  Over 100 attendees engaged for two days on a wide range of STEM themes which spanned a number of disciplines. In total, 22 UK HEIs were represented delivering a diverse and high quality programme. 

Sean Ryan, Head of STEM at the HEA opens proceedings.Authors have been invited to submit full papers by the end of September for a special issue publication of the New Directions online journal.  The conference website will be preserved as a legacy site and over the next few weeks will start publishing the presentations from the sessions.  

Work has already begun on the planning for the next conference which will be held on the 29-30 June 2017 at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh.
