Community learning and development workforce

Scotland's community learning and development (CLD) workforce can benefit from a bespoke portal of free OU courses, plus fully-funded places on accredited OU short courses for CLD workers.

The OU in Scotland is excited to work in partnership with the CLD Standards Council to offer a range of development opportunities to the CLD workforce.

The opportunities include a bespoke online portal of free online learning resources for the CLD workforce.

There also are free places available on a range of accredited short courses, known as microcredentials, fully-funded by the Scottish Government for the CLD workforce.

The OU programme helped increase my confidence in engaging with the community learning and development Sector.
