Lida Shahmiri

My name is Lida Shahmiri, I am a full-time Ph.D. student at Open University. I received my master's degree in computer science from the Islamic Azad University, Sari branch in Iran in 2015. I worked as a lecturer at the Islamic Azad University, Neka Branch, and Andisheh Sazan University for about three years. Between 2018 and 2019, I worked for Pooya Samaneh Diva as a researcher and developer and my main responsibility there was testing and developing HIS (Hospital Information System) programs. I became acquainted with the Open University in 2019, and because of my interest and experience in image processing and machine learning algorithms, I chose the subject of plant identification using convolutional neural networks through leaves images in a natural environment for my PhD thesis topic.
