As a school we feel engaging with the public is very important, so we run and take part in many Outreach and public engagement events. This also includes our NetAcad large scale outreach programme, working with Cisco to develop both our own students as well as educators and their own students from a large diverse community of organisations.

We ensure that our teaching and research is always up-to-date and relevant to the rapidly-changing world of computing and digital technologies. Our Industrial advisory board contains a wealth of talent and expertise. We consult it regularly and often to ensure that the school is constantly aware of the latest developments in technoloyg and that we continue to address the needs of industry and the wider community.

Our work with the Digital policy alliance means we have a voice at the highest levels of UK IT policy decision-making, allowing us to inform and influence how IT is used for the best interests of all.
