Raymond Williams

The Open University in Wales is delighted to sponsor the 2017 Raymond Williams Memorial Lecture which will be presented by the Actor and Campaigner, Michael Sheen.

Michael Sheen is a Welsh actor and campaigner who has made some of the most articulate interventions in political debates of the past years. He will use the opportunity of delivering the Raymond Williams Lecture to explore themes of Welsh culture and identity, its past and its present and to look again at the question Williams once asked – who speaks for Wales?

Places are limited so please book early to avoid disappointment.

If you can’t attend in person, but still wish to take part in the event, you can follow the action on Twitter by using the hashtag #RWLecture2017
