Need help depositing your research data to ORO?

The Library Research Support team have recently put together new guidance designed to help research students with the research and scholarship process. 

• Open Research Online (ORO) & ORCIDS infographic: 5 handy hints about the use of ORCIDS when uploading research to Open Research Online (ORO) 

• ORO & Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) infographic: How to generate DOIs through ORO 

The Library can now mint DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) for any OU Research Reports added to ORO upon request.  DOIs are used in citing reports and create persistent links – even if the ORO URL changes the DOI should always point to a live URL.
