How do I attend?

This session explains the various stages to doing a successful literature search. Good session for students at level 3 and above who are required to carry out a thorough search to discover what academic literature exists on a topic.

Who's it for?

Suitable for students at level 3 and above. The How to find information for your assignment session is more appropriate for undergraduate students at levels 1 and 2.

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session you should:

  • Have a basic understanding of the principles of searching
  • Know how to search for articles and article references using library databases
