Hi. I am an entrepreneur having set up and running two successful businesses. Being self-employed requires a broad range of managerial and networking skills and the ability and willingness to learn and develop at every single day.

I initially qualified as a chartered accountant and became a partner in a local firm of chartered accountants. As my management skills developed I moved on to a broader management role in a larger organisation and along the way obtained my MBA from the Open University Business School.

My business career has spanned nearly 40 years, and, during this time, I have predominantly worked for large organisations in retail banking (including HSBC) and the airline industry (including British Airways).

Working with the Open University Business School these last five years has been an ‘eye-opener’, and that’s after 30 years of having my eyes opened rather widely working in several continents and various cultures.
