Our world-class online library resources allow our students to have access to our full range of services wherever they live.
At The Open University's Library Services website users will find:
- resources including ebooks, journals and datasets
- help in finding and using resources, and referencing guidelines
- online training sessions
Library users can contact the helpdesk seven days a week for information and advice.
Linking up with libraries in Scotland
In addition to The OU Library's wide range of online resources, which meet students' needs for most modules, there are schemes that provide access to other libraries to borrow books, use collections for reference, and as a quiet place to work or study. More information here.
Access to IT facilities
All UK public libraries have internet enabled computers available to the general public. Search the Scottish Libraries and Information Resources (SLIR) website to find details of local libraries across Scotland.
