Heritage: creating a song in an hour (and a bit!)  Exploring song creation through heritage and context - intro, verse, chorus, middle 8, outro; a whistle-stop journey through a songwriter's soundworld!

These workshops are for anyone who enjoys music and song. Liz may also be joined by a local brass band musician to get creative with you. Use voice or instruments to create a blues number inspired by past and present or create a song together in an hour (and a bit!).

BG REACH: Blaenau Gwent Residents Engaging in Arts, Community and Heritage - an opportunity to celebrate the rich history, culture and beauty of Blaenau Gwent.

An opportunity to reflect on local heritage and bring stories, memories and things that matter to you about where you live to life through music.

This is a collaboration between Aberbeeg Community Group with Linc Cymru Housing Association and The Open University in Wales.

Through February and March there will be workshops taking place at Aberbeeg Community Centre which are free to take part. You can attend as few or as many workshops as you want to and there will be someone to guide you along the way.

Anyone aged 16 and above can take part in the workshops.

You can expect to meet people, have fun, share ideas and memories and hopefully learn a thing or two along the way.
