BBC and OU programme explores ‘The Brexit Storm’

As Parliament continues to negotiate leaving the European Union, The Brexit Storm: Laura Kuenssberg’s Inside Story gives viewers a front-row seat to nine turbulent months of political history. Co-produced by the BBC and The Open University’s Broadcast and Partnerships team, the one-off special airs on Monday 1 April at 9pm on BBC Two.

With candid access to many of the key players, the BBC’s Politics Editor gives never-before-seen insight into the moment the Prime Minister announces her Chequers Plan, to Brussels where Theresa May navigates her way towards a deal with the EU, and finally returning to London to witness the toughest parliamentary battles of the modern era.

OU Academic Consultants, Dr Peter Wood, Visiting Fellow for the Faculty of Social Sciences and Geography and Alan Shipman, Lecturer in Economics have been heavily involved in the production of the programme. There is also extensive research and information on Brexit on OpenLearn, including a quiz to test whether you’re prepared.
