Description
Gary Werskey chairs a discussion between Professor John Erickson and Michael Kidron on the effects of a permanent arms economy. Erickson and Kidron compare the effects of an arms economy on Eastern... and Western blocks and discuss the effect on Soviet research and development. The discussion then takes up the changes in the effects of an arms economy from the 1950s up to today and, particularly, the effect on the Third World. Finally, there is speculation about sinister implications for the future.
