Description
In Northern Ireland the process of comprehensivization has been slow to gather impetus, although there are now signs of increased momentum. The programme discusses these, and also the background to... the present situation, which is characterised by the existence of a large number of independent or semi-independent grammar schools. The contributors to the programme agree that, unlike many other social issues in Northern Ireland, the argument about comprehensivization is non sectarian.
