Description
This programme is about the Trades Union Congress1 and its attempts to influence the Government; educational policies; in particular it is concerned with the work of the TUC's Education Committee. ...Both the Speakers are opposed to government cuts in educational expenditure and interest centres not on the pros and cons of government policy as such, but on differences within the TUC on how to oppose policies which differ from their own. Both speakers are expressing their own personal opinions. and not those of their respective unions
