Description
The programme is a radio documentary of a 5-day creative writing course held at one of the Arvon Foundation's centres, in Yorkshire in June 1976. Interspersed between various participants' own poet...ry, written during the course, there are two tutorials given by the tutors of that week, poet Paul Roche and novelist Philip Callow. Some participants and the Centre Director, Bill Lloyd, also give their views of the importance of the Arvon Foundation, both for education in general and for anybody involved in their own personal writing.
