Description
Jerome Bruner and David Jenkins discuss the development of the curriculum reform movement. They consider the distinctive features of Man: A Course of Study and the degree of applicability of the pr...oject materials to universal human problems. The perspectives of the academic, the teacher and the pupil on the project are distinguished, and the essentially 'unfinished' nature of the MACOS curriculum is stressed. The programme also examines the importance of teaching to 'participants' rather than spectators.
