Description
The programme begins with the voices of people from a mining village in Camarthenshire, South Wales. Some of them are Welsh and some of them are English immigrants from the Durham coal-field. The f...irst voice is that of a teacher from the village school followed "by two Durham children now at the school. They in turn, are followed by the school's headmaster. They each comment on their experiences of trying to live with and adjust to a culture quite different from their own.
