Peter is an eleven year old attending a day school for educationally subnormal children because of his learning difficulties and general backwardness. Dorothy Jeffree, an experienced head teacher a...nd a psychologist, talks with Peter and also with his mother, his head teacher and his class teacher. From these interviews the student should build up a picture of Peter at home and at school, and gain insights into the feelings and reactions of the people most closely concerned with him.
