Description
This programme is closely linked to unit 1.There are a number of references to the characters and incidents in the correspondence text itself. In addition, the students receive, as part of their ra...dio notes, short biographies of all the characters, a description of the community and it's environs and 'correspondence' and extracts from the 'local press' which refer to events around which the action of the play centres, as well as to a relevant event in the past. Later in the course, the complete script of the play is reproduced as part of the correspondence materials in order to provide a simple model of which an analysis of decision—making is based. The programme and all it's related materials were created in order to provide students with a reminder that all decision-making ultimately depends upon people.
