Description
This talk is part of a two week section of the course in which the factors that prepared the way for the Reformation in the late medieval period are examined. Dr. Clark gives the background to Mart...in Luther's doctrinal protest by presenting the main features of the pre-Reformation theological schools that influenced Luther. In particular he throws light on the Reformation controversy between Catholics and Protestants about meritorious good works and God's saving grace.
